Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2103N2DGY3YE Dracast 500 LED light really took me by surprise. I needed a light to be able to go with me on my summer tour. Something that is compact bright and puts out a quality clean light. I was impressed with the results when I use the LED lights for photo as well. I was able to use such low light that I was able to paint light in really low increments. Dracast has light has become my light of choice due to it reliability and tank like construction.

There is a lot you get with this package. I got the C stands and bags included with the lights. The lights themselves work well. One of the 500's was flickering. It didn't do it long enough for it to be a problem, but I am concerned about it for its long term use, but so far it hasn't happened again. They pack up really well. The cases keep them clean and safe. I've been traveling with them and they are a lot easier to carry and set up than my old lights. I haven't bought any gel holders for it yet. I've been able to use gaffers tap to place gels on the front and that works fine. The dimmer is great and I love that I can put a battery on a light and take it to any location.
The lights have a lot of power. I had to light a pretty dark stage for video and even though I would have needed a lot more lights to get a good picture, I was very happy with how the image turned out. These saved me.
LED lights are so expensive and these are the cheapest I've found that is able to do the job that I want. Most kits cost about $3500 and that does not include cases and stands. So for the $1600 price tag I am very happy. $1600 is still a lot of money, but the one thing you will never have to upgrade in your kit are the lights so I don't mind investing in lights especially ones that travel so well, they're light to carry, they don't take a lot of power to run, you can use batteries, they come with all the accessories needed to get started out the box. I'm very happy so far. I will let you know if they don't hold up for me down the line.
The only thing I did not like was the packaging. It was package very poorly and the carrier seemed to damage the box a bit, but there was nothing in the box damaged, so that was a relief.
