I bought this AquaSurge 5000 2nd Generation pump to replace my 4 year old AquaSurge 7000 pump. This pump is $200 cheaper and uses half the electricity compared to a new 7000. I expected the 5000 to be less robust than the old 7000, but this pump is moving more water than the 7000 ever did. I am truely impressed with this pump.
