We really like this lamp. The item is as described. The pole, and finials on top of the globe, are metal. And though the bases and globes are resin & polycarbonate, the lamp looks better than I thought it would. The two way dimmer is convenient when you want a lower lighting setting. Assembly was easy and took about 15 minutes with 2 people, but I would slide the cord through the poles BEFORE attaching and tightening them to the base.The lamp instructions say it's weather proof, and UL listed for outdoor use, however I bought it to place in our foyer as an accent lighting piece next to a bench. It looks great!

This light was exactly what I was looking for but the pricing is a bit much. Over all the lamp provides more than enough light for my deck and pool. Would recommend but wish the price was cheaper.
