Water flows gently out the top of the sphere and covers it as water flows evenly down back into the internal basin. This water fountain is great in corners or as the centerpiece in an open space. This fountain was easy to assemble and looks great on the porch. It is not heavy but appears to be of stone. I have had many compliments on it.
